News Producer, Anchor and Reporter Lorilee Victorino Joins SRS Print E-mail

Nation’s Leading Radio PR Firm Continues to Add Radio Experience and Talent


Washington, DC – February 23, 2011 - Strauss Radio Strategies, Inc. (SRS), the nation’s leading provider of strategic radio media relations services, today announced that Lorilee Victorino has joined the company as an Assistant Account Executive. Victorino brings with her extensive experience in both radio and television, and will conduct media outreach and provide writing services for a number of SRS’ clients.

Before coming to the D.C. area, Victorino worked at WHSV-TV3 in Harrisonburg, Virginia as a morning news producer, anchor and reporter for almost three years. In 2007, she started as a general assignment reporter. By the year’s end, she was promoted to assistant producer for the morning show, “Daybreak,” and eventually to producer and anchor. As a producer and anchor, Victorino was in charge of revamping the morning show, which doubled in ratings by the next ratings period and continued to grow during her time there.

 

Prior to her career at TV3, Victorino worked as a desk assistant at CBS Radio Network News in New York City, where she began as an intern in 2006. During her time with CBS radio, she was afforded the opportunity to interview such stars as Cynthia Nixon and Angela Lansbury. Victorino was also given the privilege to cover the five-year anniversary of 9/11 from ground zero for her former station, AM850 in Gainesville, Florida.
